My Fall + Winter Essentials for 2023

Fall or maybe even Winter has hit us in Vancouver! I thought it would be the perfect time to share some of my cozy season essentials! As I am writing this I had a little depression episode and everything feels difficult, so this will be a short one. Always want to be real with you <3

MY 9 FALL WINTER ESSENTIALS

I thought it would be the perfect time to share some of my cozy fall / winter season essentials that help with cold weather and SAD season. Do you already have any of these items listed below? Let me know your thoughts 🙂  xx – C

Organic Cotton Fleece Sweatpant $39.00 CAD – Simons

These sweatpants have basically become my winter PJ bottoms, they are SO soft.

Cozy Fleece Boyfriend Shrunken Hoodie $80 – Aritzia

I purchased this grey hoodie to match my simons sweatpants above to give me that sweat set look. By far my favourite hoodie due to the shrunken feature. With my short and curvy body, alot of sweater give me this weird fabric pouch at the front that is super unflattering. This does not happen with the Artizia Shrunken Hoodie. I think I want to get this one in another colour for winter!

P.S. I could have gotten the sweatpants as well, but I found the Aritzia sweatpant version were really thick and I am a warm body.

Resistance Bands 3-Pack $58 – Lululemon

workout resistance bands

I am actually about to use these in about 20 minutes to do a mid-day booty workout video. I love how easy these slip on without digging into my skin like thinner bands do. Even sit at your desk with this band on and do some clams to build the booty over winter!

Linen Duvet Cover $450 – Parachute

I am a forever linen baby! This is not the first time I have shared my love for linen sheets and I won’t stop now. I swear every sleep since I have gotten these sheets has been such a joy and possibly the reason I love to be in bed as much as possible. Linen is an investment but they should last you quite some time as well as get softer with each use! Make sure to hang them to dry as putting them in the dryer will weaken the fibers.

Silk Expert Pro 5 IPL Hair Removal Laser $472 – Braun

After thousands of dollars spent on waxing, I decided to make the change to an at-home laser device. This device basically costs about 4 waxing appointments so becomes worth the investment quite quickly. Right now I am following the 12-week regime where I am on week 6. I promise to share the results when I get to week 12 but right now I incredibly happy with the results!

Laser where you want during the winter and come out smooth & groovy for next summer!

Whisper Featherless Jacket – $199 Athleta

This is my cool girl jacket. The moment I put it on I feel like a cooooool girl. I also really love the low back but higher cut front so I can keep my booty warm but have leg mobility for my many ninja kicks throughout the day.

Made of recycled nylon, this is an easy win for your winter season. Note this jacket was gifted to me from a previous collaboration with Athleta.

Intense Hydrating Mask– $48 Sephora

fall winter hair protection mask

This is one of my favourite hair masks of all time and I actually forgot about it until I went hunting for a good one to recommend you! Because I get gifted quite a few hair products, I haven’t had the need yet to buy a refill of hair mask yet BUT I am remembering how damn good this was and now I need to add it to my elfster secret santa list!!

Keep your hair moisturized and hydrated this fall & winter, and especially after a day on the ski hill with your hair whipping around.

Cozy Fringe Scarf– $48 Anthropologie

Typically I would not be sharing an Anthropologie product on here as they still a very unsustainable company, but this is the scarf I own and love. I bought it a few years ago and it is still my go-to each fall season. I think it is mostly the colour but I recommend taking a look at the scarf and try to find something similar that is not made of polyester 🙂 But if you can’t find something that looks warm enough, this scarf is a goodie.

I love BIG scarf that can be wrapped around like a burrito or can be worn just once around the neck.

Blundstones – $240

Are you even a Canadian if you don’t have these shoes?  I bought mine from this cute little store in Edgemont Village called Zigzag. Check them out to support locally!

Durable, waterproof, good in snow. There’s so much more I can say but they the best.

THE ONLY THING would be that these are made of leather, and therefore, not vegan. 🙁

SEE YOU NEXT WEEK MWAH!
